In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem! Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!.When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game! Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online.Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online!.Need to come up with a good solution for it.īut yeah thanks so much for playing my game! It might be a bit slow going but I'm still working on updates for it and plan to add a lot more.Game or Patch Questions? Visit FileForums If you can get into the music the way it builds and interacts with the combat is really satisfying.Īlso I've struggled with the idea of other objects activating bells but it conflicted with the way you choose which bell to ring, didn't want people to get frustrated ringing the wrong bell on accident. And I'm working on different music moods with different chord progressions and sound files so you might come around to it. I think you'll appreciate the stuff I'm working on for the next update, like I've already got some flail type weapon and polearm stuff I'm working on balancing now. It's nice to hear some negative stuff since those are things that have already kinda been nagging me too. Hey, thanks for the feedback! I agree with it all, really. Some variety would be good, they're all roughly the same shape/length. Oh yeah and all your weapons are *tiny* XD I can't fathom how a fan of Hammerfight could prefer music that is basically an endlessly droning toy piano. I'm turning the music off and playing my own. Some realistic metal-hitting glass sounds might be good too. Why not? I would love to hear the armor shatter when I hit it. Also, I just realized there's no cracking/smashing sounds when glass breaks. There are sounds that I like, but overall the game lacks bass. The best noises are the deep bongs, the explosions, and the crunch of hitting bad guys. Not saying you should ditch the idea of everything being made of glass, but it needs work. There's no cracking stone, crunching wood or clanking metal here. Sigma Impact is just missing some of the inherent fun of swinging around heavy weapons. In concept, swinging a hammer around in a dungeon made of glass is an amusing idea. I appreciate the attempt to take the game in a unique direction. Sorry if this sounds cringe but the best I can describe it is: A total lack of masculinity? I kind of hate the aesthetic of this game. Perhaps because everything is made of clinking, tinkling glass which is a great segue into.ĭon't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game and I want to play it more, but this is how I feel about it. It could use more punch, grittiness though. The sound design is pretty good, I like how you sound when you're flying around. I haven't even seen all of the abilities and weapons yet. There's even a gun ability, which you aim of course by swinging your weapon around which makes it very tricky to aim. There's even emergent gameplay since recalling your weapon can make it hit enemies on the way back! I enjoy how this game actually encourages you to throw your weapon, and gives you a chance to recall it so you're not defenseless. I like how there are enemies that charge at you, but you can see where they're going to charge and you can put your weapon in their path so they hurt themselves. Wrangling the physics to time your swing perfectly and land hard hits is really fun. It took some time to get used to the controls, you can very easily lose control of your weapon but that's kind of the point of this genre. The physics of SI feel great so far! The gameplay is fantastic. Thanks for making this game, it's super cool to see a fresh take on something like Hammerfight and I love physics games in general. I'm coming to this game from being a long time Hammerfight fan, so I'm pretty biased, but so far I'm really enjoying it! The mouse control mode feels fine, I haven't tried the gamepad controls yet but I'm considering it haha.
