![]() ![]() The ones without vectored thrust make harder to control rockets.Ģ - Canards are only useful where the atmosphere is thick, but then that's where you tend to have the hardest control problems, so add a few. The other hints about how to make a controllable rocket are as follows:ġ - Check what kind of rocket engines you use - not ALL of them have vectored thrust. FULL LEFT, FULL RIGHT, FULL LEFT, FULL RIGHT, back and forth many times per second), which stresses the rocket even more and can set up destructive wobbles. It keeps jamming the controls back and forth a max deflection very quickly (i.e. I tend to dislike using SAS and ASAS on liftoff because the computer auto-piloting is to stupid to know how to be gentle about it. ![]() PS: I was too lazy to edit it, so please ignore the errors. I would like to know how to better control the ship so that I can actually get into space and onto planets. I cant ever take my fingers off the controls for a second before the ship flips and is a goner. The people making the tutorials are looking at the map (or whatever you call the menu when you press "m") and their plane still goes straight up. ![]() I ahve seen videos on how to make ships but whne I follow them the same thing always happens. I use the WASDQE keays to control it, but about 1000-2000 meters in the air I always ose control. I understand that there are S.A.S adn A.S.A.S., I have atteched them to my ship and nothing seems to happen. My problem is taht I cannot, for the lfie of me, get the ship to go straight up. I can get into space with the "stock" ones, but not with any of mine. I have made ships (very bad ones) and flown them. I got the game a few day ago and I'm going to start off with saying that its great. ![]()
